Who was able to stay in Lincoln? (Krill's and Corey's are not allowed to answer that... :)

My household thought about it, but in the end we drove home. We left after dinner, threw all of our stuff into 2 cars and headed south. About an hour into the ride Mike realizes he forgot his boots for his "Beer-League" championships on Wednesday and has to turn around and go back. That's about when we got the "School closed" call, so we thought he and Johnny could return for today, while Kailah & I would continue south. About 30 min later we realized my work computer was in his car, and Johnny's boots were in my car! Ugh, the life of a NH Weekender!

U10s had a great weekend of training! We got in a lot of runs in Saturday AM, followed by GS training in the afternoon. Coach Joe did a great job videoing everyone: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1-ytTRsEP4EfXYAc_4CaVLqgvTletGooY The kids will tell you they did much better on their later runs, but this did give us an opportunity to show them what we are talking about. We point out things like dropping the inside shoulder, not pressuring the outside ski enough, working on rolling the ankles and the line the kids are taking in a course.

Sunday was challenging with the race, we enjoyed watching Coach Caitlin forerun, and took a look at everyone's videos. I should have gone with my gut about afternoon gates. I knew the kids wanted to train SL, so I went for it. The kids were great, and very responsible crossing the race trail. It was the public that kept skiing into our course that made me nervous. So we decided pulling the course and making some more runs would be much more productive for everyone.

Hope you are enjoying your snow day if you have one!
